Poke Bowl Recipe with Nanuk Salmon Recipe
In Hawaiian, Poke means to “cut or slice” which refers to chunks of delicious raw marinated fish (usually tuna, but nanuk salmon works best) which are then tossed over rice and topped with seasonal vegetables. There’s a reason poke bowls are all the craze right now, and this video will show you why.
Ingredients Needed for Nanuk Smoked Salmon Poke Bowls:
Poke:
- 1 lb Local Albacore or Nanuk Salmon cubed
- 1/4 cup Shoyu (aka Soy Sauce)
- 4 Tbs Chopped Chives or Green Onion
- 2 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tsp Grated Ginger
- 2 Tsp Sesame Seeds
- 2 Tsp Chopped Pistachios
Nanuk Salmon Poke Bowl Toppings:
- Seasoned crumbled nori
- Goma Wakame-Green
- Limu Ogo-Purple
- Tobiko-Orange
- Radish
- Avocado
- Cucumber
